IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering
activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain,
verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an
account. What this means for you is that when you open an account, we will
ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will
allow us to identify you. This may include a photocopy of a government
issued picture ID, such as a driver's license or passport. This information
will need to be provided in person at Unison Bank during the time of account
opening.
Unison Bank does not accept credit or deposit applications from individuals
located outside of our trade area unless the applicant is a present
customer.
